A structured starting point, not a blank stare

Tell it the document type, the jurisdiction and province, and who the parties are, and it drafts the scaffolding: standard sections in plain language, a parties block, a document-details block, and a notary cover sheet for your file.

It is deliberately a starting point. Every draft opens with the disclaimer that it is not legal advice, it never invents statutes or citations, and it is built to be reviewed and refined — ideally with a lawyer. That constraint is the feature: a scaffold you can trust beats confident-sounding text you cannot.

Export that respects the reader

Real text — searchable, copyable, accessible

Plenty of browser tools "export a PDF" by taking a picture of the page. The result cannot be searched, cannot be copied, and is invisible to a screen reader. Ours writes actual text into the file.

That matters more than it sounds: it is what lets someone quote a clause, what lets a search find the document years later, and what makes it accessible rather than merely legible.

The whole point

Write it, sign it, seal it — one tab

The document you just wrote is already open in the editor that sends for signature. Add signers, drop their signature boxes on the page you just typed, and send. When everyone has signed, the tamper-sealed PDF with its Certificate of Signing & Seal comes back to all parties.

No export, no re-upload, no "which version did I send?".

Private by design

Your draft does not leave your device

Writing and formatting run entirely in your browser. The document stays on your machine until you choose to save it to your account or download it — there is no autosave to somebody's cloud, no document sitting in a training corpus, no "we may process your content to improve our services".

The one exception is opening an Office file, which needs a server conversion — and that upload is deleted immediately afterwards.

The optional AI Document Wizard works differently: when you use it, the details you type into its form and the parties you pick are sent to our AI provider — DeepSeek in China, or OpenAI in the US as a fallback. The page you are writing is not sent.
